No, we welcome self-‐funded patients as well as those with insurance
This is something that you will need to check with your own insurer, but we are happy to provide a list of assessment, diagnostic and treatments costs, please contact us for further information
We are a recognised provider with all of the health insurance companies
We know that waiting for treatment is not an ideal situation which is why we strive to see patients within 48 hours of receiving a referral letter.
Insured patients will usually need a referral from their GP. We are however happy to see self-‐pay patients without a formal referral.
Please bring a list of any current medication. We also advise that you bring a list of questions or queries that you may have, to ensure that you don’t forget any important points and you therefore make the most of your appointment
The answer here depends on the type of surgery, a lot of the procedures that we carry out are day cases, often under local anaesthetic and this means patients can be up and home on the same day. Patients requiring general anaesthetics may be allowed home on the same day, but this really depends on each individual’s recovery period.
